1050 Connecticut Ave. NW, Fifth Floor
Washington, DC 20036

Please join the American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative (ABA ROLI), with its partner, the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative (HHI) for the launch of their report,
"Justice and Security Sector Diagnostic: Bangui, Central African Republic,"
drawing from a population-based survey of 2,650 residents and supplementary qualitative interviews, funded by the U.S. Department of State Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement. HHI also thanks the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation for support.

ABA ROLI Research Advisor, Catherine Kelly, and ABA ROLI Central African Republic Program Manager, Timothy Meyer, will explore the report's major conclusions about what justice means to Bangui residents, describe trends in recent experiences citizens have had with security sector and justice sector actors, and analyze the policy implications of these patterns. HHI Director of Research, Dr. Patrick Vinck, will explain the survey methodology used to gather the data in Bangui—including sampling, data gathering, and analysis.
