In honor of #WorldHumanitarianDay, we'd like to thank the incredible pro bono volunteers - like Judge Judith Chirlin - who help defend the rule of law around the world. While Chirlin narrowly missed the Canal Hotel Bombing, she was among several lawyers and judges who worked on human rights issues alongside the United Nations in Baghdad, Iraq at the time, as well as later on at the CEELI Institute in Prague where she trained Iraqi judges.
